Christmas Message Sweater

I made this sweater for a scientific circle Christmas party. It was an extremely simple design, powering LEDs from 26 wires soldered directly into the development board.

I didn’t know there were current limitations on microcontroller pins and that I should have used transistors. I didn’t know I should’ve used a matrix to control the LEDs.

I didn’t know these and many other things, yet I was happy to sit down for a few evenings, solder a bunch of ethernet wire, tape it to the sweater and go off with a developer board and a powerbank.
